Wine Museum - Bodegas La Sangre de Ronda:

The wine museum is located in a former palace with its central patio, leading to many different rooms. There is an audiovisual room in which we can learn and find out about the history of wine in Ronda, and also rooms with archeological remains which represents the different cultures settled in Ronda and their relation to wine. Iberians, Phoenicians, Wisigoths, Romans, Arabs, etc. The museum also offers information on wine varieties, and you may use the information panels to travel around wine culture and wine tasting.

El Cortijo de los Aguilares:

El Cortijo de los Aguilares has a land surface of 800 hectares, of which 18 are dedicated to their own vineyards, the rest being for other agricultural activities including fields for Iberian pig farming. Its geographical location is the estate´s main asset: 900m above sea level, it enjoys mild temperatures and a great amount of sunshine. This provides the vineyard with its unique terroir. It produces powerful yet elegant wines. Different grape varieties are grown, but Pinot Noir is its most prestigious wine and has been awarded many international prizes. The winery has recently been renovated, although it has kept its traditional style. There is a pleasant wine-tasting room for visitors.

Arriate:

Bodega Juan Manuel Vetas

In the village of Arriate you can visit the winery of Juan Manual Vetas. This is a small estate where the winery is surrounded by its vineyards. This winery makes its wine in the traditional way and the winemaking process is thoroughly controlled by its owner Juan Manuel Vetas. Great attention is paid to the respect of the terroir. This results in on of the best wines in Ronda: Vetas Selección Petit Verdot, a wine made from one of the most delicate grapes.
You will enjoy a very personalised visit which reflects the care given to the vineyards. This is, no doubt, a different experience for wine lovers.

Bodegas Quitapenas

Quitapenas is one of the most emblematic sweet wines of Malaga. Its history dates back to 1825 when the Suarez family started working in the vineyards. Free guided tours area available in which you will be explained all the details of sweet wine production in Malaga and will and will be able to taste some of them. Group wine tasting courses are also organized and there are private dining rooms for special celebrations such as weddings and corporate meetings. Besides, Bodegas Quitapenas has 3 taverns in the city where you can enjoy the best wine and tapas.
