Fiestas in Pamplona:
San Águeda:
4 February.Different choirs sing as they walk the streets of Pamplona, beating the rhythm with their sticks (Makilas).
San Fermínes:
6 - 12 June.The fiesta officially starts at midday on the 6th with the Chupinazo (Txupinazo). For a week there are bull runs through the streets of Pamplona. People dressed in white holding the typical red scarf run in front of he bulls until they get to the bull ring. Bull-fights, parties, and balls complete this festive week. We have included a video with the Txupinazo at the bottom of the page.
